2011 CoreSolutions Food Drive
We would like to give a HUGE Thanks to all the individuals and companies that donated to the Ailsa Craig and area food bank. They were in desperate need of help as their shelves were bare and you answered the call. The amount of food donated will greatly help the food bank service their 30-40KM radius!
At CoreSolutions, community involvement has always been a priority. We stay connected with local organizations and the community in which we do business. This is why it’s important for us to give back in a meaningful way. For this reason we have decided to take part in the London & Middlesex 2011 United Way Campaign. We are going to be hosting a variety of events including an employee breakfast, dress down days, pizza lunch for our entire business park, and a bake sale to raise money for the campaign.
Why the United Way
We are fortunate to have clothing, food, shelter, and a job. Not everyone is as fortunate. London is home to one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and close to 1 in 5 families live below the low income cut off. Giving to the United Way goes much farther than supporting just one cause. The United Way is focused (this year) on three key impact areas:
- Poverty
- Mental Health
- Beginnings and Transitions.
