Welcome to the first of many entries on ContinuED®.
The newly released version of ContinuED® 2.2.1 contains many goodies and requested enhancements that many of you will find quite useful in setting up classes for the upcoming ConEd terms. Some of these goodies include:
- New student fields for Driver’s License Number and Citizenship/Immigration Number
- Registers now support 45 sessions instead of the original 32.
- Visual improvements to the attendance entry screen
- Further refinements to the Class Settings templates including the addition of class dates.
In response to popular demand, the Class Settings templates have been beefed up. The templates now include optional templates for dates, costs and resources. These are quite handy – if you set these on an existing template, any new class created from this template will come with a full set of dates, costs and resources right out of the box. This will save many of you precious time during the setup of classes.
Have you ever had an idea for improving ContinuED®? We would love to hear about it! Become a Fan of CoreSolutions Software on Facebook and join the “ContinuED® User Group” Discussion and let us know how you would improve the software. We’re on Twitter too (@CoreSolution) and of course you can add your comment to this blog post. Or send your idea directly to the ContinuED® team (continued-support@coresolutions.ca). All ideas are taken into consideration when releasing a new version of ContinuED®. If there is widespread support for an idea, it generally makes it into the next product release. Any ideas that are implemented are then available to every user.
We value your feedback so please leave us a comment!
