CoreSolutions is pleased to offer our own in-house developed FileMaker Training Courses as well as the FileMaker Training Series (FTS)modules developed by FileMaker Inc.

The courses we offer range from the absolute novice with FileMaker such as how to use the basic features of a FileMaker database to building eye catching charts and reports.

The FTS modules are designed to cover all aspects and best practices when developing in FileMaker Pro and are highly recommended if you wish to become a Certified FileMaker Developer – just like us!

We all know that when the economy is bad the first thing to get cut is usually the training and professional development budget.  Rather than have to pay for travel and accommodation you can now take these courses from the comfort of your own desk and they have been broken up into time slots of no more than 3 hours. This allows you to still be productive at work while expanding your skill set at the same time.

For any of the FTS modules you will also need to purchase the FTS manual and supporting DVD but at US$99 it is well worth the money for the reference value alone.

The other benefit of offering the courses online is that we do not need as many people in them to make them run as we do not have to “fill a classroom”.  In fact we can usually offer these courses with as few as 3 attendees and scheduling them is much easier – not quite on demand – but getting pretty close to it!
