Each of the products we develop at CoreSolutions Software is feature rich, including our software package, ContinuED®. Many of these features are hidden in plain sight but are readily accessible to you.
Recently, a client contacted us and asked if there was a way to reduce the number of emails being sent to students. A certain preference had been enabled and was sending an email to students when changes were made to a class. Turns out, the option to override the default setting of sending out email had been missed. There are a few places where this option exists. The screenshot below shows you the option at the top of the class dates management screen:
This option allows you to override the default preference settings for this class. It comes in handy when you want to make a quick change that is transparent to students.
Another hidden gem can be found in the Student Editor, which now includes information related to both transcript and diploma dates and type.
Now that this information exists in the student record, it can be used almost anywhere student information is required.
If you have a report where you’d like to use this information, please contact us through continued-support@coresolutions.ca.
