It’s Spring! The time when CoreSolutions holds our regularly scheduled user group sessions for PD Place™ and ContinuED®. What better way is there for a company to grow? We sow our seeds, tend to the garden, work out the bugs and in the end we have a product that has been tended to since creation and all with valued input from those who use the software regularly.
I like to think of our user groups as a community garden. Wikipedia states that community gardens are created to assist with neighborhood improvement, to create a sense of community and a connection to the environment. Our user groups were created for the same reasons. By bringing together all the users involved in the daily workings of our programs such as administrators, IT, staff development coordinators and more, we are continuously improving upon the software’s features and functions for our clients and new customers. The meetings also create a sense of community when our users come together in the Spring and the Fall to brainstorm about new functions and talk about best practices and in turn, learn about the improvements that have been implemented from feedback received at the last meeting, always staying connected with the environment that is PD Place™ and ContinuED® Software.
PD Place™ and ContinuED® each have their own areas of specialty, PD Place™ being Professional Development and ContinuED® is Continuing and Adult Education; one a flower bed while the other a vegetable garden. They both need tending to, nourishment and love to grow and offer a value to those who end up with the final product.
Have you ever talked to a plant to make it grow? Well, we listen therefore our software packages grow allowing everyone to be successful in their use of the programs. With so many preferences within PD Place™ and ContinuED®, you can truly make it your own.
