Tradeshow and conference season is ramping up and the CoreSolutions team is heading out on the road over the next couple of months, attending events throughout Ontario, in Alberta and in Atlanta, Georgia. Below is a short list of the conferences we’re exhibiting at or participating in. Maybe you’ve heard of some, maybe you’re even registered to attend. Come on by and say ‘hello.’ We’d love to connect with you.

ATLE

(November 24-26 | Red Deer, AB)

ATLE’s (the Alberta TechnologyLeaders in Education conference) theme for their fifth event is “Designing Our Technology Game Plan.” Centered around a Grey Cup theme, this year’s conference promises a great line-up of speakers, including Dean Shareski and Len Niebo, Director of Information and Instructional Technology at Brick Township Public Schools in New Jersey. There’s even a tailgate party scheduled — it is Grey Cup week after all!

CESBA – Fall Session

(December 1-3 | Toronto, ON)

CESBA is the Ontario Association of Adult & Continuing Education School Board Administrators, and their annual fall conference is built around “Leading by Example: Passion, Diligence, Integrity.” Keynotes for the 3-day event include Leona Dombrowsky, Minister of Education and Dr. Eric Hoskins, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration. Information on various plenary sessions and networking opportunities is available in the conference brochure.

Learning Forward

Learning Forward, formerly the National Staff Development Council, is hosting its annual conference starting December 4th. With a packed roster of keynote speakers, including the host of NPR’s “All Things Considered,” Michele Norris, this is an opportunity for educators and school officials to network and learn the latest breakthroughs in professional development. For those unable to make it to the event in person, there’s even a virtual conference option available.
